University Graduate – Employee Compliance (Flex-Track) 100% (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a university graduate for the position of "Employee Compliance (Flex-Track)" in Zurich to join the Global Compliance team and identify and mitigate employee-related conflicts and integrity risks. The incumbent will work closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and regulatory alignment.

Tasks

As part of the Global Compliance function, you will join the Employee Related Conflicts Team, which plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the bank by identifying, assessing, and mitigating employee-related conflicts of interest and behavioral risks. Responsibilities include:
  • Working with various internal stakeholders, including compliance colleagues, HR, markets, legal, and front office colleagues
  • Monitoring and controlling employee transaction behavior in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks
  • Contribute to maintaining trust, fairness, and cooperation throughout the organization by proactively addressing employee-related compliance concerns.
  • Participation in technical feasibility studies for process optimization, including the development or use of machine-readable solutions
  • Review and assessment of conflicts of interest cases, understanding their nuances, and resolving selected cases under supervision
  • Practical experience in the daily tasks of an Employee Related Conflicts Officer
  • Contribution to the digitization and harmonization of control processes, improvement of efficiency and effectiveness through technological solutions for a global intelligent control environment

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:
  • Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in business administration, finance, risk management, compliance, or computer science/information systems (degree max. 12 months old)
  • Initial practical experience in financial services or regulatory/compliance projects, as well as with process optimization, control frameworks, data analysis, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Passion for asset management and desire to create value beyond wealth
  • Global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong desire to learn
  • Fluent English, with additional languages a plus
  • Permission to work in the country you are applying for
