University Graduate – Machine Learning Engineer 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Identifying opportunities for AI and data science to drive data-driven innovation in wealth management
• Participation in the development and validation of AI/ML models that improve customer experience and operational efficiency in a regulated banking environment
• Engagement with modern data infrastructure and the Julius Baer technology stack to create and maintain secure and efficient analytics pipelines
• Supporting model risk management through thorough documentation, acceptance testing, and compliance with regulatory expectations for transparency and explainability
• Monitoring emerging AI/ML trends and applying innovative techniques responsibly within the limits of banking regulations
• Help promote a data-driven culture within the organization by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in analytics and AI.

Requirements

• Master's degree from a university or technical college with above-average grades in AI, data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related quantitative subject (degree max. 12 months old)
• Initial practical experience in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets are advantageous.
• Passion for wealth management and desire to create value beyond asset management
• Global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to learn
• Fluent English and German, with additional languages a plus
• Permission to work in the country you are applying for
