Tasks

As part of the Model Validation & Trade Approval team, you will join Market & Treasury Risk, which plays a key role in the New Product Approval (NPA) process for new trading products. Specifically, Model Validation & Trade Approval is responsible for validating and certifying mathematical pricing models and providing trading approvals for various (customized) trading products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Take responsibility for one or more regular team activities, such as validating pricing models, daily operations related to evaluating model performance, constraints, and sensitivity to parameters using quantitative techniques.
• Develop and implement independent benchmark pricing models as part of the validation process, using quantitative libraries
• Work closely with front-office quants, the trading desk, risk managers, and IT

Requirements

Your profile:

• Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in STEM subjects, business, or banking and finance (degree must have been awarded no more than 12 months ago)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills and interest in quantitative models
• A genuine interest in financial markets
• Strong programming skills, preferably Python
• A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to learn
