About the job
University Graduate Software Engineering APAC 100% (f/m/d)Your tasks
As a graduate in our Platform Engineering team, you will be at the forefront of transforming how hundreds of developers in our bank build and deploy applications. You will tackle real-world challenges that directly impact engineer productivity and developer experience. - Platform modernization and innovation: You will help modernize our platform capabilities by migrating legacy systems to cloud-native architectures while maintaining zero downtime for critical banking operations. This includes working with modern technologies such as Kubernetes, serverless frameworks, and event-driven architectures to build the next generation of our platform. - Revolutionizing the developer experience: Your mission is to make complex infrastructures simple. You will design and build self-service features, automation tools, and intuitive APIs that enable application teams to focus on business value rather than infrastructure complexity. Every tool you build will multiply the productivity of dozens of development teams. - Multilingual ecosystems: You will work in a polyglot codebase that includes Java, Python, Go, and Terraform, exposing you to different paradigms and building versatile engineering skills. This diversity means you will solve problems with the right tool, without being limited to a single technology. - AI-powered platform engineering: You'll be part of pioneering efforts to integrate AI into our platform offerings. This includes intelligent code generation and automated testing, as well as intelligent resource optimization and predictable error detection. You'll explore how AI can transform developer workflows, reduce toil, and accelerate delivery cycles.Your requirements
- Strong technical foundation: Good academic performance (bachelor's or master's degree) in computer science or related disciplines, with practical experience in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, or similar) and a solid understanding of software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and event-driven systems. - Cloud and platform knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern infrastructure concepts, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform), as well as an interest in DevOps practices and automation. - Curiosity and continuous learning: Genuine passion for technology with active involvement in emerging technology trends, particularly in areas such as AI/ML, event-driven architectures, and platform engineering—demonstrated through personal projects, open-source contributions, hackathons, or self-directed learning. - Collaboration and growth potential: Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts, ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, ownership mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit, and long-term interest in building a career in platform engineering and cloud infrastructure. What we offer
- Tailored career path: Develop expert knowledge in your chosen field while growing personally and professionally. - Global perspective: Gain international experience and work with diverse teams. - Community and mentorship: Learn from industry leaders and colleagues and build a strong network.Job details
