Job description

US Institutional Sales - Vice President/Director, responsible for positioning Man's product portfolio with institutional investors in the United States. * All aspects of promoting and supporting existing allocations across Man's range of investment products and solutions * Identifying and coordinating sales activities for target clients

Specific tasks

* Identifying, developing, and maintaining effective professional relationships with key investment contacts among institutional investors (pension funds and insurance companies) and financial institutions (banks and platforms) * Basic management of assigned accounts; this includes prioritizing accounts, conducting research, acquiring clients through cold and warm calls, scheduling appointments, and initiating conversations with prospects to identify their investment allocation strategies * Identifying ideas/strategies for existing mandates to provide solutions and engage senior colleagues and senior management * Contribute to the development and execution of the current institutional business development strategy and assist in the implementation of the direct sales strategy to achieve personal sales targets within the specified timeframes * Deliver effective, enthusiastic, and professional presentations on Man's agreed product portfolio to institutional investors (e.g., pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds/family offices) and other relevant information * Deliver these presentations in collaboration with product managers * Manage ongoing relationships with new and existing clients * Prepare and deliver marketing events, both as seminars for prospects and participation in relevant industry events in accordance with the team's agreed event schedule * Maintain a comprehensive information database for all our contacts; Ensuring that all meeting notes and current information on these contacts are stored * Managing and coordinating sales activities and providing feedback on market and prospect knowledge to support and develop business strategy * Reporting on all activities to senior management in an agreed format and within the specified deadlines

Requirements

* 6+ years of experience in institutional sales, with a proven track record of success in asset management/wealth management * Established network of relationships within the US institutional investor community preferred
