US Institutional Sales - Vice President/Director

Tasks
This role is responsible for positioning Man's product portfolio with institutional investors in the United States. Key responsibilities include:- All aspects of promoting and servicing existing allocations across the entire range of Man's investment products and solutions
- Implementation of the coverage strategy in the US and coordination with the activities of the sales team for target customers
Specific responsibilities
- Identifying, developing, and maintaining effective professional relationships with key investment contacts among institutional investors (pension funds and insurance companies) and financial institutions (banks and platforms)
- Strategic management of assigned accounts; this includes prioritizing accounts, researching potential business opportunities and warm calls, scheduling meetings, and initiating conversations with prospects to identify their strategy and investment goals and offer investment solutions (provided by the company group).
- Collaborate on the development of the current business development strategy and assist in the implementation of direct sales targets to achieve an annual sales target within the specified time frame.
- Deliver effective, enthusiastic presentations on the company's product portfolio for buy-side clients and relevant information
- Conducting thesis presentations for investors directly with portfolio managers
- Management of ongoing relationships with new and existing customers
- Collaborating with and representing Man Group at external investment events such as seminars for prospective clients and participating in relevant industry events in accordance with the agenda agreed by the team
- Maintain and continuously update information for all accounts to store accurate and up-to-date information about these contacts; ensure that all meeting notes are taken in a timely and accurate manner and provide feedback on market and prospect knowledge to support and develop business strategy
- Reporting on all activities to senior management in an agreed format and within the specified deadlines
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in institutional sales, with a proven track record of success in asset management/investment products
- Any established networks of relationships within the US institutional investor community
