Value Stream Architect, Client Lifecycle and Banking (80-100%)

About the role

We are looking for a Value Stream Architect for Client Lifecycle and Banking to join our Enterprise Architecture team. In this role, reporting directly to the Head of Architecture, you will mentor the other team members and participate in all relevant ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinements, Steering Committees, etc.) for the teams you oversee.

Main tasks

• Act as a technical stakeholder to the Client Lifecycle and Banking Value Stream Leadership Team and work closely with business owners and product leaders to prioritize business and technical delivery.
• Work with business owners and project managers to define and develop the delivery route for the Client Lifecycle and Banking Value Stream.
• Define and evolve the system architecture to meet business, scalability, maintainability and security requirements and maintain the long-term technical direction of the client lifecycle and banking value stream.
• Ensure compliance with best security and enterprise architecture standards and work closely with the rest of the enterprise architecture and CISO team to ensure compliance with established corporate and security standards.
• Work closely with the tech leads to understand and develop the platform towards the desired goal.
• Design, document and communicate all technical and architectural decisions and roadmaps.

Ideal candidate

• Bachelor-Abschluss (oder höher) mit 10+ Jahren Erfahrung in einer Ingenieur-Architektur- / Architektur-Technikmanagement-Rolle.
• Previous experience in the design, build and delivery of major business initiatives.
• Proven experience in managing and interacting with core banking systems.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns, modern tech stacks and security.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with business users and technology teams.
• Agile AI architecture skills and ability to express roadmaps for the use of AI within the value stream.
• In-depth and (ideally) practice-oriented knowledge of Java21.
• Starker Hintergrund in Anwendungssicherheit, CISO-Datenhandling, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), Daten-Eigentumsgrenzen und Systemintegrationsmustern ist sehr vorteilhaft.
• Starke Problemlösungs- und Fehlerbehebungsfähigkeiten mit der Fähigkeit, reife Urteile zu fällen.
• Willingness to mentor people and teams and participate directly in coding when required.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to support the business owners in defining a product roadmap and defining the future of Sygnum's client lifecycle and banking value stream.
• Strong desire to learn and exceptionally organized and experienced in communicating across teams, geographies and functions.
