Regulatory Affairs Manager
Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to support the company in a constantly evolving regulatory environment and ensure that the bank anticipates, analyzes, and successfully implements the resulting obligations. The position requires experience in the Swiss financial sector, excellent knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework, and the ability to manage strategic regulatory challenges.

- Early identification of regulatory developments and assessment of their strategic, financial, and operational implications for the bank. - Managing cross-functional projects related to regulatory processes and coordinating their implementation within the bank. - Coordinating regulatory stress tests and ensuring their integration into the bank’s risk management framework. - Supporting and coordinating dialogue and representing the bank in dealings with regulatory authorities, external consultants, and professional associations. - Developing and updating internal guidelines, strategies, and regulatory processes in close collaboration with the Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management departments, as well as Executive Management. - Preparing analyses, reports, and proposals on regulatory topics for Executive Management and the Board of Directors.Requirements
- A college degree (preferably in law and/or political science) or equivalent education. - Excellent knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework applicable to banks and its practical implementation. - Demonstrable experience in a similar position in the Swiss financial sector or in consulting is a plus. - Experience in leading and managing complex, cross-functional projects. - Analytical thinking, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with regulatory authorities, external partners, and senior management. - Very good written and spoken French and German; knowledge of English is a plus.We offer you
