- Design, develop, and deliver technical solutions for all asset classes - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify where technology can best contribute to business objectives - Collaborate with engineers to design solutions that make the best use of BlackRock’s systems - Test and validate all models to ensure they are accurate and complete - Play a key role in supporting the Middle Office Compliance System - Collaborating with engineers to ensure that appropriate business controls are in placeRequirements/Qualifications
- Strong C++ and debugging skills - Understanding of machine learning models, including large language models - Familiarity with NLP techniques and tools such as sentiment analysis and topic modeling - Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms - Experience with agile software development methodologies - Interest in the investment management industry and investing - Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as Blue Prism - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Splunk, Tableau, and Power BICompetencies
- Ability to manage projects from conception through completion to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget - Ability to balance multiple priorities - Desire to solve complex problems across various engineering technologies and products - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple goals, priorities, and deadlinesWe offer
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience - Open to U.S. veterans. Veterans must be able to work at a BlackRock office - Must be able to start work no later than December 2019 - Salary:- For NYC, NY: USD 110,000 – USD 160,000
- For Wilmington, DE: $95,000 - $130,000
