**Vice President**
BlackRock is seeking a Vice President for the Cash Operations team who will be responsible for overseeing settlement and exception processes and leading a team. The candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in the financial services sector and 5 years of team leadership experience.

The Cash Operations-The Group provides control over the investment process by ensuring compliance with investment guidelines, accounting and regulatory requirements. The Group supports all of BlackRock's investment products.Tasks
- Ensuring that all reconciliation and accounting processes are completed accurately and on time
- Collaborate with colleagues in the US, EMEA and APAC to identify and drive process improvements
- Identification and escalation of problems for resolution, troubleshooting and root cause identification
- All facets of people management are to be performed, including: coaching and development of employees, leadership and motivation as well as goal setting, 1:1 meetings, mid-year and annual appraisals
- Key input to the management team to ensure staffing levels are appropriate and succession plans are assessed
- Daily review of cash exceptions and collaboration with the team
- Identification, management and implementation of projects
- Accurately record metrics to enable efficiency
- Driving efficiency and effectiveness: leading projects to improve accuracy/quality and exception management
Requirements
- At least 7 years' experience in the financial services sector and good knowledge of financial markets, preferably in investment management, fund accounting or global custodianship
- At least 5 years of experience in leading teams of professionals, personnel development
- Proficiency in Microsoft and other programming languages
- Strong, effective analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, internally and externally
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize goals and time
- Demonstration of strategic thinking within the company
- Excellent decision-making skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, deadline-driven environment
- Strong initiative to pursue outstanding issues - identify what needs to be done, take action and follow through to resolution
