Vice President – Business Development, Asset Management (Capital Raising)
This position plays a key role in implementing the company’s fundraising strategy across Alantra Asset Management’s full range of alternative investment products and strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and the investment teams to strengthen existing relationships with investors, identify new fundraising opportunities, and support the platform’s international expansion.Focus of activities
- Supporting and implementing capital-raising initiatives for Alantra Asset Management’s investment strategies and products.
- Contributing to the fundraising strategy for existing and new investment vehicles.
- Identifying and developing relationships with institutional investors and distribution channels in Europe and other relevant markets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with family offices, private banks, pension funds, insurance companies, and other asset allocation firms.
- Coordinating investor follow-ups, meetings, and fundraising processes in collaboration with senior team members.
- Expansion and consolidation of Alantra's international investor network.
- Monitoring market trends, fundraising dynamics, and asset allocation developments in the private markets and alternative investments sectors.
- Closer collaboration with the investment and product teams in preparing marketing materials, investor presentations, and fundraising documentation.
- Collaboration with the investment, investor relations, legal, compliance, finance, operations, and strategy teams within the company.
- Representing Alantra Asset Management externally at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in asset management, capital raising, fund distribution, institutional sales, private banking, and/or private markets business development.
- A strong understanding of alternative investments and private markets.
- Existing network and exposure to institutional investors and/or distribution channels.
- Proven experience working in fundraising and investor relations environments.
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills.
