Vice President - Industrials M&A
Alantra is seeking a Vice President of Industrials M&A to join its investment banking team in Boston or New York. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in M&A in the Industrials sector and be able to work directly with Managing Directors and Partners.
Overview
Alantra is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join its Aerospace & Defense M&A and capital raising advisory practice. The position is based in Boston, MA, or New York, NY.Tasks
- Vice Presidents represent our company both as business developers and as executives.
- You must demonstrate professional judgment and be able to handle any task independently.
- The main tasks include:
- Management of execution, leadership of project teams and development of M&A process expertise
- Performing execution activities such as drafting sales and sales documentation, analyzing industries and companies; and developing client presentations
- Interaction with a wide range of third party experts (lawyers, tax advisors, auditors) and senior management teams at client companies
- Interpretation and effective presentation of financial analysis, business valuation and modeling, and M&A-related documentation
- Frequent communication with each project team and constant awareness of the progress of each mandate
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- 2-3 years investment banking experience at Associate level required
- Experience in industrial M&A preferred
- Established and strong professional track record in M&A
- Expertise in all phases of project management
- Results-oriented and focused on the production of high-quality products
- Objective and constructive problem solver
- Able to provide direction and leadership to build a strong team environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer management skills
