Vice President - Industrials M&A

Overview

Alantra is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join its Aerospace & Defense M&A and capital raising advisory practice. The position is based in Boston, MA, or New York, NY.

Tasks

• Manage execution activities, lead project teams and build M&A process expertise
• Perform execution activities such as writing sales and purchase documentation, analyzing industries and companies, and developing client presentations
• Interact comfortably and build relationships with the full spectrum of third party advisors (legal, tax, accounting) and senior management teams at client organizations
• Interpret and effectively present financial analyses, company valuations and models as well as M&A-related documentation
• Communicate frequently with each project team and stay informed on the progress of each assignment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
• 2-3 years of investment banking experience at associate level required
• Industrials M&A experience preferred
• Established and strong professional track record in M&A
• Expertise in all phases of project management
• Results-oriented and focused on the production of high-quality products
• Objective and constructive as a problem solver
• Able to provide direction and leadership to build a strong team environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong customer management skills

Salary

Alantra's good faith and reasonable estimate of the potential salary range for this role at the time of posting is a base compensation of $175,000 - $195,000. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus in addition to base compensation.
