Vice President - Industrials M&A

Alantra is seeking a Vice President of Industrials M&A to support its Investment Banking team in the Aerospace & Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in industrial M&A and be able to work directly with Managing Directors and Partners.

Overview

Alantra is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join its Aerospace & Defense M&A and capital raising advisory practice. The position is based in Boston, MA, or New York, NY.

Tasks

  • Vice Presidents represent our company both as business developers and as executors
  • You must demonstrate professional judgment and be able to handle any task independently
  • The main tasks are:
    • Management of projects, direct leadership of project teams and development of M&A process expertise
    • Performing execution activities such as drafting sales and sales documentation, analyzing industries and companies, and developing client presentations
    • Interacting with third parties and building relationships with professional advisors and senior management teams at client companies
    • Interpretation and effective presentation of financial analysis, business valuation and modeling, and M&A-related documentation
    • Frequent communication with each project team and constant monitoring of the progress of each mandate

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 2-3 years of investment banking experience at associate level required
  • Experience in Industrials M&A preferred
  • Established and strong professional track record in M&A
  • Expertise in all phases of project management
  • Results-oriented and focused on the production of high-quality products
  • Objective and constructive problem solver
  • Able to provide direction and leadership to build a strong team environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer management skills

Details

  • Start date: Immediately
  • The company estimates the potential salary range for this role at the time of publication to be a base salary of $175,000 - $195,000.
  • This role is also eligible for an annual bonus in addition to the basic remuneration.
  • The actual starting remuneration at the time of recruitment may vary and may be above or below the range.
