Overview

• Position: Vice President - Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking
• Location: Athens, Greece

Tasks

• Leading the execution of complex transactions (debt, equity, hybrid) in the maritime/offshore sector
• Main contact for customers (shipping companies, financiers, investors)
• Leading transaction teams and contributing to business development and deal origination
• Key tasks:
  • Structuring and execution of debt, equity and hybrid financing, M&A and restructuring transactions
  • Development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses and scenario/sensitivity work
  • Preparation of investment memoranda, offering documents, investor materials and presentations

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, structured finance, merchant banking or investment management, especially in the shipbuilding, transportation, oil & gas or offshore sector
• Strong track record in executing complex debt and equity transactions (including hybrid instruments) in the maritime/offshore sector
• Advanced skills in financial modeling and valuation
• Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills in English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage
• Experience in dealing with clients: Confidence in dealing with senior management, investors, lenders and other stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead deal teams, coordinate advisors and close transactions
• Strong commercial and strategic thinking, ability to generate new mandates, build networks in the shipbuilding/offshore market and identify opportunities
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and team management skills
