Overview

We are looking for a Vice President – Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking to join our team in Athens, Greece.

Tasks

• Leading the execution of complex transactions (debt, equity, hybrid) in the maritime/offshore sector
• Main contact for customers (shipping companies, financiers, investors)
• Leading transaction teams and contributing to business development and deal origination
• Structuring and execution of debt, equity, and hybrid financing, M&A, and restructuring transactions
• Overseeing the development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario/sensitivity work
• Supporting the preparation of investment memoranda, offering documents, investor materials, and presentations

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, structured finance, merchant banking, or investment management, with significant exposure to shipping, transportation, oil & gas, or offshore sectors
• Strong track record in executing complex debt and equity transactions (including hybrid instruments) in the maritime/offshore sector
• Advanced skills in financial modeling and valuation; confident in leading model development and reviewing assumptions
• Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills in English; Greek language skills are desirable
• Customer-focused experience: confident when interacting with senior management, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead deal teams, coordinate advisors and close transactions
• Strong commercial and strategic thinking, ability to acquire new mandates, network in shipping/offshore markets, and identify opportunities
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
