Tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for: * Developing and implementing business initiatives, client solutions, or projects in the area of securities and derivatives settlement * Resolving complex inquiries, conducting research, and performing due diligence for client requests * Conducting detailed analyses of escalated issues and providing recommendations for resolution * Contributing to processing standards and expectations for securities and derivatives processing teams * Developing and implementing business plans, guidelines, and procedures that deliver solutions and cost savings * Manage daily performance in the area of securities and derivatives settlement * Propose solutions for implementing settlement process improvements, customer service enhancements, or technological upgrades * Collaborate with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement * Serve as a mentor to new/junior employees * Appropriately assess risks in business decisions, with particular consideration given to the company’s reputation and compliance with laws, regulations, and Citi policies
