Wealth Planner

The position as a Wealth Planning Specialist at the Syz Group involves advising clients on complex wealth planning situations with a French connection, as well as providing administrative support in the areas of internal administration, legal affairs, compliance, and audit. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in law, taxation, and/or wealth management, as well as in-depth knowledge of financial markets and wealth structuring.

Your tasks

The role consists of three components:
  • Direct Wealth Planning with a Focus on Situations Involving France
  • Support for the Team Leader
  • Administrative support for internal management, legal, compliance, and audit requirements
The specific responsibilities of the ideal candidate include:
  • Reviewing clients' wealth planning with the relevant specialists within the bank, or with the head of wealth planning, or with the relevant business unit
  • Providing expertise in the areas of business, taxes, law, insurance, and asset allocation to ensure a comprehensive and complete overview for clients and their family members
  • Coordinate with the tax advisor or the client's team to identify optimal solutions
  • Conducting training sessions for relationship managers or other teams within the bank
  • Assisting the Head of Wealth Planning with special projects
  • Conducting and monitoring our due diligence reviews of contractual partners and transactions to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with internal colleagues, including Tax, Legal, and the Stewardship Solutions team, to ensure a coordinated and collaborative approach
  • A team player who is willing to contribute to supporting financial planning

Your profile

Experience and Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in law, taxation, and/or wealth management, with a focus on complex situations and structuring
  • A detailed understanding of the class of assets and their tax implications
  • A good understanding of insurance as a tool
  • Knowledge of intergenerational planning on a multi-jurisdictional basis
  • Experience with structuring
  • Knowledge and expertise in financial markets are required
