Wealth Planner
A Wealth Planner at EFG International in Singapore is responsible for developing wealth planning strategies for private and institutional clients. Key responsibilities include identifying client needs, creating solutions involving insurance, trust and corporate structures, and collaborating with internal and external partners.
Job description
Tasks
- Identifying and developing wealth planning strategies, including the use of insurance solutions, trusts, foundations, family offices, companies, and other complex structures to meet clients' wealth planning needs and goals
- Meet with clients and EFG client relationship officers (CROs) to understand and identify opportunities in relation to clients' wealth planning needs and objectives
- Conducting awareness training/discussions with CROs on relevant technical product/market updates in the area of asset planning
- Collaboration with EFG Wealth Solutions (trustees) to facilitate the establishment of EFG trust structures for clients
- Liaise with all relevant parties (internal and external to EFG) to assist in the processing and closing of wealth planning cases in Asia
- Developing and maintaining a strong network of external advisors (lawyers, tax advisors, etc.), insurance brokers, and other counterparties
- Work closely with the Head of Asset Planning Asia in achieving, monitoring and regularly reporting on financial performance and business development efforts
- Contribute to Asia content for publications etc. produced by the Global Wealth Planning team
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience in:
- The use of offshore jurisdictions and wealth planning tools such as trusts, foundations, family offices, and companies
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of HNWI insurance solutions and premium finance
- Experience in managing wealth planning companies, ideally in an insurance company, private bank, or trust company
- University degree in law or finance. Additional qualifications related to the field of interest (e.g., TEP, LLM in tax law, etc.) would be an advantage.
- Completion of the CACS exam 1 and 2
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in Mandarin, as you will be working with customer relationship officers with Chinese portfolios
