Wealth Planning Advisor
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Wealth Planning Adviser (100%) in Geneva to advise and support high net worth private clients on matters relating to Swiss civil and tax law. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in law or economics, at least 3 years of professional experience, and a solid knowledge of Swiss civil and tax law.
Job description
We are looking for a Wealth Planning Adviser (100% (f/m/d)) for our team in Geneva.Tasks
The tasks include:- Advising and supporting bank clients in civil and tax law matters under Swiss law (in particular tax law, matrimonial property law, inheritance law, and adult protection law)
- Support experienced wealth planners with legal and tax assessments and the preparation of client documentation
- Collaborating with other specialists within the bank to achieve comprehensive client solutions (e.g., collaborating with international colleagues from the Wealth Planning team)
- Coordination and cooperation with external experts (lawyers, notaries, and other specialists)
- Assessment and implementation of appropriate legal, tax, and wealth planning solutions for clients residing in Switzerland or in cross-border situations involving Switzerland
- Collaboration on internal wealth planning projects and presentations for clients and relationship managers at the bank
- Preparation of training materials and presentations
Requirements
The requirements are:- Master's degree in law or economics
- Tax expertise (ongoing) or other tax qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in private client services (in a consulting firm, a renowned law firm, or a Swiss notary's office), ideally 2 years in a Big Four firm
- Solid knowledge of Swiss civil law and tax law
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented, customer-focused personality
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong sense of responsibility
- Professional and thoughtful demeanor
- Solid technical judgment and strong analytical skills
