Young Talents Specialist (m/f/d)

The Young Talents Specialist is responsible for the technical and strategic management of the Young Talents unit, coordinates training positions and is the central point of contact for talents, practice department heads and other stakeholders. The specialist accompanies and supports the talents throughout their training and ensures a stringent training program.

Young Talents Specialist (m/f/d)

Your challenge

  • Technical and strategic management of the Young Talents unit (IT and IT apprenticeships, BEM interns), including planning a needs-based number of apprenticeships
  • Overall coordination and central point of contact for the Young Talents, practice department heads, parents, authorities, education officers, etc.
  • Networking of VP Bank in the area of young talents at the Liechtenstein Bankers Association (Young Talent Working Group)
  • Accompanying and supporting young talents throughout their training (from onboarding to transfer to the specialist departments, including personnel development/management as well as feedback and performance discussions, preparation of training reports, etc.).
  • Ensuring a stringent training program (coordination of practical content) to implement the overarching educational objectives
  • Probable employer branding (participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, social networking, social media presence, etc.)
  • Planning and implementation of various events and workshops (taster days, future day, lending camp, etc.)

Your profile

  • Commercial / business management training with/without a recognized vocational diploma in the commercial field
  • Rounded banking and/or insurance experience and understanding of Swiss and Liechtenstein banking law
  • Enjoy working with young people
  • Commitment and flexible personality with a positive, strategic and conceptual way of working
  • Strong communication, presentation and moderation skills as well as confidence in dealing with different stakeholder groups
  • A flair for figures and controlling skills (feedback, performance, conflict and mediation talks)
  • A high sense of responsibility, independence and the ability to make decisions quickly and pragmatically
  • Stable knowledge of German and English
