Young Talents Specialist (m/f/d)

The position of Young Talents Specialist (m/f/d) at VP Bank Ltd encompasses the technical and strategic management of the Young Talents unit as well as the conception and implementation of training programs. The area of responsibility also includes the supervision of trainees, employer branding and event organization.

Job description

Your challenge

  • Technical and strategic management of the Young Talents unit (IT and IT apprenticeships, BEM interns), including planning a needs-based number of apprenticeships
  • Overall concept and strategic orientation for Young Talents, practical training, parents, disabled people and educational policy measures/projects
  • Networking of VP Bank in the area of young talents at the Liechtenstein Bankers Association (Young Talent Working Group)
  • Accompanying and supporting young talents throughout their training (from onboarding to the transition to professional life), including personnel development/feedback and performance discussions, preparation of training reports, etc.
  • Ensuring a stringent training program (coordination of practical examples) for the implementation of educational policy measures/projects
  • Proactive employer branding (participation in events and trade fairs, social networking, social media presence, etc.)
  • Planning and implementation of various events and workshops (taster days, future day, apprenticeship graduation ceremony, etc.)

Your profile

  • Commercial/business management training with a recognized vocational training diploma in the commercial sector
  • Around 2 years of industry experience and understanding of the Swiss and Liechtenstein banking system
  • Enjoy working with young people
  • Commitment and flexible personality with a positive, hands-on mentality paired with the ability to work strategically and conceptually
  • Strong communication, presentation and moderation skills as well as confidence in dealing with different stakeholder groups
  • Management, mediation and coaching skills (feedback, performance, conflict and mediation discussions)
  • A high sense of responsibility, independence and the ability to make decisions quickly and pragmatically
  • Stable knowledge of German and English
