Analyst/Associate Corporate
Der Job als Analyst/Associate Corporate in der Global Corporate Actions team von BlackRock in Wilmington, Delaware, umfasst die Verarbeitung und Validierung von Unternehmensaktionen, die Kommunikation mit internen und externen Parteien sowie die Sicherstellung von Genauigkeit und Risikominderung. Der Mitarbeiter wird als Experte für Unternehmensaktionen für weniger erfahrene Mitarbeiter fungieren und durch On-the-Job-Training ein tieferes Verständnis von Unternehmensaktionen und Marktprozessen erlangen.
Job Purpose/Background
This role is based in our Wilmington office and will play a key role in event-related activity which is captured through the trade life cycle platform and communicated throughout the event life cycle to custodians and counterparties.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all corporate action events are captured and validated through the creation of a gold copy announcement.
- Interact with Portfolios Management to ensure all necessary selections are received and processed.
- Ensure corporate action instructions are issued to and acknowledged by custodians and counterparties.
- Daily ensure that all global corporate actions are accurately processed in Aladdin system and reconciled with our custodians' records.
- Investigate reconciliation discrepancies daily, ensuring all issues are promptly resolved and cleared.
- Ensure the appropriate restriction status of entitlements is maintained in applications throughout the entire Corporate Actions lifecycle.
- Manage any queries received from various internal and external parties.
- Interact with other teams and the third parties/custodians to resolve issues.
- Raise all risk items and escalate timely as needed.
Requirements
Knowledge/Experience
- You should possess a minimum 0-2 years Corporate Action experience or experience working in an investment or brokerage.
- You should be able to demonstrate project work experience through prior projects or driving other process efficiencies.
- A good understanding of stock lending and settlement impacts on corporate action elections and allocations is a must.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Acute attention to detail and understanding of the impacts to downstream processes.
- Possess a good understanding of the risks inherent in the processing of corporate actions; and demonstrate good discipline around risk mitigation and escalation.
Competencies:
- Candidates should possess a high level of self-motivation and adaptability.
- Demonstrate an ability to work within a global team.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to influence constructively and effectively to timely deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits
- $15000 - $16000. Add discretionary bonus, and benefits package according to compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and team and individual performance.
