Securities Transfer Specialist

Key Qualifications

• Approximately 1-3 years in a similar job function or relevant experience, degree or equivalent work experience will be a plus
• Good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering results in time-critical environments
• Adaptability within remote or hybrid environment

Key Features and Accountabilities

• Client Management (internal & external)
  • Coordinates with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, agents & counterparties to ensure that daily work meets organizational standards.
  • Monitor the queries received and provide responses or holding replies within a reasonable timeframe.
• Business Management
  • Input of transfer instructions received from clients into the core banking system.
  • Submits request for security master creation if the instrument is not available in the system.
  • Maintenance of counterparty SSI in the core banking system
  • Ensures that the instructions sent to the custodians are in good order; Swift exceptions should be cleared daily
  • Ensure timely payment of Stamp Duty / Tax and Fees, if applicable for any transfers
  • Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing when required
• Regulatory Responsibilities / Risk Management
  • Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to being honest and acting with integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with laws and regulations
  • Work with the relevant teams in fulfilment of regulatory requirements

    • Good analytical and logical thinking skills, and ability to make sound and timely decisions
    • Familiarity with digital trends and innovative practices in our industry
    • Able to work in different languages: English and German (spoken); English
• Knowledge and Experience
  • We are looking for relevant experience in Security Transfer and SWIFT (MT Sxx) knowledge will be an advantage
