Senior Engineer & Scrum Master 100% (f/m/d)

Scrum Master - Responsibilities

• Lead as Scrum Master and proactively coach and collaborate with self-organizing product and development teams to work with a mindset that provides continuous and sustainable value to our clients.
• Facilitate the full-time commitment of the Scrum team (2-4 Sprint duration and 1-2 RITeMs)
• Proactively set the overall and continuous agenda and facilitates coordination with other teams
• Identify and clearly communicate the main value drivers of the team and create a culture of 'accountability to results'
• Organize the backlog, estimate, and plan work in short iterations and cycle of development (agile ceremonies: SPRINT Planning, DAILY SPRINT Stand-up, SPRINT Review, SPRINT Retrospective)
• Track quality metrics and key performance indicators (cycle time, throughput, flow efficiency, etc.)
• Identify and solve areas of improvement based on empiricism and scientific methodology
• Create transparency and process improvement by adapting to change and continuous improvement of processes and workflow (PDCA)

Senior Engineer - Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software modules ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices (DevOps) and compliance to standards of the bank
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals and delivery metrics
• Conduct robust software builds from source code, meeting defined performance and security criteria
• Review and enhance system code for quality assurance, efficiency, and consistency with coding standards
• Perform third-party software quality checks, including unit tests, static code analysis, and code quality
• Suggest improvements to code base with code documentation and clean up the code base
• Analyze software metrics such as code coverage, maintainability, performance, and test reliability
• Participate in architectural reviews, contributing to the overall design and technical strategy
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices, fostering knowledge transfer, and supporting career growth
• Maintain a high standard of code quality, providing guidance to other engineers in adhering to industry standards and coding best practices
• Contribute to automated software build packages, deployments and environments
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize software performance and reliability
