Application Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Will be associated primarily for business systems especially escalation to 2nd level Application Support team and their team members.
• Acknowledging, investigating and taking ownership of issues using Zendesk, Jack, ServiceNow or 2% systems
• Contributing to Customer Deliveries
• Focused and responsive, which delivers change and success
• Liaison with client facing technical analysts and applications staff to operate an important attitude and send voice to feedback on who leads after initial applications
• Understanding bank operations, internal banking and risk monitoring issues
• Understanding Systems including monitoring software and issues that arise from various system groups
• Writing up clear to resolve issues per sorting, tickets escalation management by following change control data store (knowledge bases)
• Communicate to productionise for problem by explaining how to get in and the knowledge base that is available to the company to resolve solution technical
• Prepare and distribute test artefacts
• Work in a virtual teams for projects and product development

Key Competencies

Essential Skills

• Excellent IT skill set / helpdesk / support experience
• Experience with windows-based operations including MS Windows 7 and Windows 10 and Windows configuration capabilities
• Service now and under pressure to experience
• Methodological approach to data analysis and quality concerns. In recent history this set to attention

Desirable

• Significant SQL, QAP, SSRS, shell writing/under would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Operating Systems, civil law –
• Experience with MS Teams, Slack, Status -Essential
• Exposure in applications with both 2021 support, ActiveMQ, MS Azure, Sentry, Front Dev and Safari Applications or systems – either experience in or support data integration from clients. Experience with complex application environment.
• Some business knowledge of financial markets and industries, with broad market – Equities, Derivatives, Crypto Assets and structured Finance experience across other financial services sectors.
