Job Description
Responsible for safeguarding the bank's financial integrity by strategically managing assets and liabilities and ensuring the bank's financial health through proactive risk management and strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for initiatives relating to the Treasury P&L, balance sheet items, assets and investments
- Design and develop analytical tools, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to ensure high-quality and complete reporting within the group, and making in Treasury relevant areas
- Drive data model development efforts that help make Treasury & Credit analytics more robust, and make financial reporting more automation and optimisation of reporting processes
- Ensure end-to-end execution of credit risk reporting, including the production, and quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring timely reporting to management
- Lead or support strategic projects and workstreams across Treasury and Credit, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial structures, improve credit performance, boost economic capital, and analytical skills to analyze complex risk exposures, and knowledge sharing within the team
Your Profile
- Relevant advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; additional professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are desirable
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in treasury, credit, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and economic conditions
- Solid understanding of treasury and balance sheet management, counterparty risk analysis, and financial risk management principles
- Proficient in the use of financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experienced in automating, standardizing, and optimizing financial processes
