Business Analyst - Retail& Other Products

Role Summary

• As a Business Analyst within the Financial Accounting Tribe, you will work at the intersection of finance, banking operations, business processes, and technology.
• You will help ensure that new business initiatives, regulatory changes, and system upgrades are well thought out and properly implemented through strong business analysis and requirements gathering.

What You'll Be Doing

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (product owners, IT teams, business units) to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to ensure clear understanding of business needs.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist in defining acceptance criteria and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Act as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring that solutions meet business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies related to new changes or enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Bachelor or higher qualification required).
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial services or banking sector.
• Strong understanding of banking products and services (e.g., retail banking, payments, retail loans, digital banking).
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.
