Business Analyst - Security Operations

The role will partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve clarity, consistency and provide operations data into actionable management insights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements for SecOps metrics, dashboards, workflow improvements, and governance routines.
• Supporting OSM reporting packages, KPI / KRI tracking, action item follow-up, and recert/audit, exam, and leadership requests.
• Maintaining process documentation, meeting artifacts, intake trackers, and evidence packages for compliance and manual reporting.
• Partnering with technical teams to translate operational needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort across Security Operations.
• Coordinating across stakeholders to track dependencies, risks, decisions, and deliverable completion.

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills & experience:

• Prior experience as a business analyst, operations analyst, project analyst, or similar role in technology, cybersecurity, risk, or financial services.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex operational needs for management audiences.
• Working knowledge of requirements documentation, process mapping, KPI / metrics tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in an operational environment.
