Role Description
- This is a key role that will be pivotal in the CIO Chief Control Office at Nomura.
- The successful candidate plays a critical role in building on our governance, reporting, risk analytics, and compliance pillars.
- The incumbent in this role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with the required documentation.
- This position serves as the primary owner and subject matter expert for Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
- We are looking for a candidate seeking a challenging role, who has a good understanding of risk management frameworks in financial services.
- We need someone who can apply a flexible, pragmatic approach to shape strategic direction for a regulated environment.
- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the Chief Control Officer function reporting matter expert and leverage strong influencing and problem-solving skills to develop globally. Three Lines of Defence stakeholders with Key Business Stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the commandable Risk Management Policy, which includes the RCSA processes.
- Has experience operating in a regulated environment.
- Has experience managing stakeholders across the Three Lines of Defence globally.
- Has good communication skills with strong attention to detail.
