eFX Developer and Analyst

Job Title:

eFX Developer and Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust analytics solutions for FX Sales, Trading platforms and eFX Strategic Initiatives
• Collaborate with Trading Desks and Sales to identify data visualisation and automation solutions for daily analysis
• Maintain and enhance existing KDB based MIS systems
• Provide technical leadership in an agile development environment
• Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver high-profile projects

Requirements:

• Experience in building MIS systems for electronic trading, specifically in Tier1 investment banks or major financial institutions
• Proven track record in processing and analyzing high-frequency trading data, including market data processing, order flow analysis, and transaction cost analysis (TCA)
• Hands-on experience with tick capture platforms (KDB+/q, TimeBase, or similar), including implementation of real-time analytics and historical data analysis
• Experience with:
  • Database systems (DB2, SQL Server)
  • Messaging middleware (JMS, Tibco RV)
  • Real-time data processing
• Experience with development tools and processes:
  • Version control systems
  • Build automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Professional certifications in relevant technologies are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder focused mindset
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
