FIG Analyst (Madrid, Spain)
Alantra sucht einen FIG Analysten für das Büro in Madrid, der das Team bei M&A-Transaktionen, Kreditportfolios und Asset-Backed Securities durch Finanzmodellierung und die Erstellung von Marketingmaterialien unterstützt. Der ideale Kandidat verfügt über mindestens ein Jahr Berufserfahrung, starke analytische Fähigkeiten und fließende Kenntnisse in Englisch und Spanisch.
Industries
- M&A: Broad and full sector coverage with a proven track record of helping banks, insurance companies, asset & wealth managers, servicers, fintech, and all FIG-related companies, as well as whole loan or lease originators.
- Credit Portfolio: Leading advisor on distressed and non-core assets transactions, ABS (Secured / unsecured NPLs, REOs).
- Secured Funding and Asset Backed Securities (SFABS): Experience across the full range of asset-backed lending structures and securitized credit including whole loan securitizations, asset-backed notes, credit derivatives, and other structured credit instruments. Our approach builds on a deep understanding of the underlying assets to be securitized, market leading analytical capabilities gained as a leading credit portfolio advisor.
Job Description
- Based in Madrid, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our FIG team.
- The day to day tasks will include: Support in execution of active mandates: Preparation of marketing materials, financial models, and client presentations for potential clients.
Requirements
- Strong academic background and results.
- At least 1 year of experience from a leading investment bank, boutique, or accounting firm preferred. Previous experience in FIG is highly valued but not required.
- Excellent financial knowledge and understanding of financial statements.
- Financial modelling skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute own ideas and work autonomously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Capable of working under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency (both written and spoken) in English and Spanish is a requirement.
- Proficiency in other languages (French, Portuguese or Italian) will be appreciated.
