Financial Analyst, Performance- & Initiative Manager 80 – 100% (f/m/d)
Als Financial Analyst bei Julius Baer in Zürich führen Sie quantitative Analysen durch und leiten Initiativen zur Optimierung der Front-Office-Gewinn- und Verlustrechnung. Sie unterstützen das Management durch strategische Bewertungen, Reporting und die Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern im Wealth Management.
Aufgaben
- Drive & perform in-depth quantitative analyses (using Management Information System) to identify P&L opportunities, trends and insights at an early stage with respect to P&L impact and the profitable use of Balance Sheet products and define actionable measures to drive & improve respective performance – incl. business performance (e.g. revenue / sales performance) and market performance (e.g. assets / business areas) performances in focus topics for front office P&L initiatives
- Lead and coordinate initiatives that trigger improvement of front office P&L performance and key stakeholders across all key areas in the investment management organization: concept development, implementation and rollout with reporting & progress tracking (performance, benefits, profitability initiatives etc.), for the biggest Region within the Bank’s global Wealth Management business, with maximum transparency to management meetings
- Prepare concise, insightful & visually appealing presentations on various finance topics – especially for clients (e.g. analysis, insights, actionable measures, briefings etc.) & management meetings
- Act as a sparring partner to the Front in the context of Finance topics, with direct interface to senior management and key stakeholders across the bank (e.g. Accounting, Treasury, Credit, Credit Risk Management)
- Run business case assessments and market strategy reviews on a regular basis for strategic financial decision-making
- Enhance Performance Management and reporting landscape to enable tracking and implementation of Julius Baer’s long term business strategy execution
Anforderungen
- Strong academic record: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, with above-average grades
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a comparable finance or related function with focus on wealth / private banking and (business) consulting with focus on banking
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Private Banking business and global financial markets
- Excellent slide writing skills with ability to prepare “target audience specific” communication
- Advanced Excel and data handling skills paired with affinity to derive in-depth insights from finance topics
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of data analytics & visualization applications (e.g. Tableau) etc.
- Excellent oral communication skills to convey complex financial data into actionable proposals or comprehensive terms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical, conceptual skills, fast thinker and outstanding team player
- Strong understanding of Capital / balance sheet management knowledge (incl. implications of regulatory capital requirements on profitability and product sales) would be a huge plus
