Financial Crime Investigator
Der Financial Crime Investigator ist für die Untersuchung von Verdachtsfällen finanzieller Kriminalität zuständig und soll dabei helfen, Kunden und das Finanzsystem zu schützen. Die Rolle umfasst die Identifizierung und Untersuchung von illegalen Aktivitäten, die Koordination mit Stakeholdern und die Umsetzung von Kontrollen zur Risikominimierung.

Financial Crime Investigator
Aufgaben
- Source and develop investigative leads, reporting on working methods
- Identify illegal (e.g. SMELs) financial crime, investigation, Anti-Bribery, Regulations, Tax, etc. and ensure controls are implemented to protect the financial system
- Identify suspicious financial activity and thoroughly investigate matters linked to the Financial Crime risk of HSBC's MBS
- Ensure regulatory enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and ensure adherence to the applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure decisions that impact to the Businesses, and so on, are to be confirmed by discussing with senior stakeholders and senior management
- Act as a "subject matter expert" on financial crime to identify emerging risks to HSBC through exploitation of data and analytics/data mining methods
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on suspicious activities to manage sanctions risk and other threats to financial systems and compliance
- Comminute with all internal business areas where appropriate regarding findings and issues, and formulating Management Information
- Possess awareness and strong risk management information
Anforderungen
- Strong understanding of data analytics tools and techniques
- Strong background/knowledge in compliance or financial regulation, risk management, fraud prevention or law enforcement agencies
- Advanced SSD skills including complex spreadsheets, data analytics and data mining techniques for fraud detection and investigation
- Proficiency in Python for data investigation, analysis and statistical modeling using libraries such as Pandas, Numpy and Matplotlib
- Experience in exploiting online crime techniques and mechanisms to prevent fraud from occurring, such as online attacks and digital forensics
- Financial crime investigations experience
- Multi-professional and timely of complex case investigation experiences
- Strong familiarity with investigative techniques and processes
- Familiarity with technology monitoring systems and management systems
- Experience in conducting AML, Sanctions and fraud risk assessments, including typology, suspicious activity reporting and filing, law enforcement and market abuse
- Holding professional qualifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist
