Head of Operations

Der Head of Operations übernimmt in Abu Dhabi die strategische Führung und Überwachung der täglichen Offshore- und Onshore-Operationen im Öl- und Gasbereich. Die Position erfordert mindestens fünf Jahre Erfahrung in der Betriebsführung, mit Fokus auf Sicherheit, Compliance und operative Exzellenz.

Aufgaben

  • Operational Leadership (Including operations-related budgets)
    • Provide strategic leadership to support operations oversight work incl. drilling units, remote production systems and offshore supply chain
    • Oversee daily operations at the operating facilities, remote areas and onshore facilities. Manage all direct work activities using safety, quality assurance systems, HSE, mechanical, ODM, IT systems where compliance and performance are ensured. Also responsible for delivering projects on time and budget
    • Ensure compliance is maintained in all operations areas, operating standards for mechanical systems, HSE, safety systems and regulatory agencies
    • Manage communication and reporting for operational and performance reporting and control systems
    • Provide direction to provide direction in the performance plans related to operations, operational and equipment-specific system
  • Drill and Produce Wellheads (Including COPE management)
    • Use field operating system to develop and maintain COPE (COntrolled Production Ensemble) management, field and surface reservoir and equipment management system and monitoring
    • Provide operational governance into compliance and operational plan, including the use of management training, leading implementation of field maintenance, and HSE implementation
    • Provide critical technical oversight for critical infrastructure systems, equipment, and systems through all drilling, construction, and operation processes for surface and underground reservoir and equipment management
    • Oversee operational plans and quality, service integrity and safety regulatory compliance
  • Reporting to the senior operations management
    • Coordinate with and through the Director of Petroleum's (DPC) corporate operations support systems. Provide operational and well operation and production planning, ensure operating excellence. Drive the transition from conventional to low-carbon and methane recovery drilling operations and implement the DPC's policy and plans of operations. Coordinate and lead management of operations in marine facilities. Create an effective, resilient customer service culture and deliver operational excellence reports to customer operations
  • Innovation & technology and operational improvements
    • Direct the staff, and operational leadership team to optimize operating plans and equipment operation, equipment maintenance, maintenance operational plans for offshore and onshore drilling
    • Monitor the ongoing drilling supervision activities, and related to the exploration operations, and developing equipment, technology management and drilling processes
    • Lead the design and maintenance management activities, drilling unit operations and offshore drilling equipment, technology management and control systems, and develop operations reporting systems in accordance with the budget and operational delivery plans
    • Implement performance management processes, equipment, and operations reporting, including operational plans and performance reporting to senior operations management teams
    • Monitor operations reporting requirements at the corporate and sector levels, and conduct operations and safety management reviews, and ensure compliance operating guidelines and HSE management systems
    • Coordinate operational activities, including operations performance management and related operational reports, and provide input to corporate and regulatory oversight bodies
  • Risk management, standards and quality
    • Monitor safety, quality, and compliance (health, environment, safety, and regulatory) at the corporate level with the global project activities and functional groups (e.g., operational leadership). Oversee safety, quality, and compliance (including HSE, environmental, and health & safety)
    • Implement safety systems and emergency response plans, ensure quality assurance, safety, and compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and regulations (drilling operations, safety, and compliance) and regulatory requirements, and standards
    • Lead the development and implementation of operating plans and quality assurance program measures, equipment standards, and environmental compliance requirements to ensure operational success
    • Define, lead, and monitor operations, and the overall operational impact of the operating performance reporting, including development of operational and safety and quality assurance systems
    • Oversee operational performance, including quality assurance and regulatory compliance, and ensure operations management and safety standards are met in accordance with the budget, and regulatory and quality assurance requirements

Anforderungen

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, management, or related field is required
    • Relevant educational degree or equivalent qualifications in leadership, operations, and analytics (a well-established)
  • Professional experience
    • Master's degree or equivalent in a technical or managerial field
