Investment / Portfolio Management Analyst

Mar Group sucht einen Investment/Portfolio Management Analysten in London, der bei der Identifizierung von Anlagegelegenheiten, der Finanzmodellierung und der Überwachung bestehender Investments unterstützt. Der Einstieg erfolgt über ein sechswöchiges Ausbildungsprogramm und erfordert einen Bachelorabschluss sowie Erfahrung im Finanzwesen.

Responsibilities

Identify and source investment opportunities across public, private equity and debt markets
Conduct financial analysis and modelling to evaluate potential investments
Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee
Monitor and manage existing investments on an ongoing basis
Support the development of new investment strategies and products
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required
Stay up to date with market developments and regulatory changes
Carry out monthly models, analysis of events on new convertible investments, assist in monitoring and day-to-day management of existing investments and systems
Update convertible models to reflect current market conditions and issuer-specific events
Assist in the timely completion of new convertible investments
Conduct ongoing financial analysis and monitoring of existing investments
Prepare investment reports and presentations for the investment committee

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds or related industries
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and other relevant software
CFA charter preferred but not required
Strong background in finance and accounting
Excellent financial modeling skills
