Aufgaben

• Work to fulfil the ambitions of the team defined by Head of C&I Software Solutions
• Actively participate and support the head of the team to regularly review and improve team processes to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Continuously drive and improve systems
• Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of applications supported by the team
• Solicit and discuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders through the various channels used by the team
• Actively participate and support Program Increment (PI) planning process within markets
• Support change management and release deficit planning
• Provide dedicated post implementation support locally in Asia
• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, continuous professional development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Optimize server-side performance and ensure data integrity and security
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Diagnose and resolve frontend issues, providing support for both development and production environments

Professionelle und technische Fähigkeiten

• Profound hands-on Java programming skills
• Core Java & related utilities/technologies, particularly collections, JSON, JDBC, Maven
• Spring Framework including Spring Boot, JDBI templates and JTA, Messaging and JMS
• Excellent decision-making/problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of Java Execution context and Java stacks & threads
