Lead, Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

Lead Cyber Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, upgrading, administering, and supporting Network Device (Firewalls, Access Data VDI, Exchange, all Microsoft Servers), Load All DCI Gateway solutions and IP Telephony (Mitel 5340 and Cisco IP 2801) for the IT infrastructure as well as the corporate network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervision of administration of Oracle UL (Microsoft PowerUp) DA QN, RiskSUIT SDA, and other corporate software.
• Lead and supervision of IP Telephony systems (Mitel), enterprise wireless and mobile devices implementations.
• Design and support IAP security architectures including: computing, networking, failover, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Design, implement, and manage IAP security systems, gateway access, and integration solutions.
• Develop and implement integrated communications and communication systems.
• Perform fault, faults, pre-upgrade assessments, pre-upgrade readiness validation, and operational readiness reviews.
• Monitor security systems, integrate computer systems, support fast detection and response mechanisms.
• Suggest and recommend changes to VAPs and workflows with a specific focus on their conformance to Corporate with Information, Security, standards, and LVC where required.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance with Corporate with Information, Security, and LVC where required.
• Communicate technical knowledge, engineering processes, upgrade conditions, and implementation results.

Required Profile Skill Sets

• Perform IP configuration of routers, firewalls and switching and VPN environment configuration.
• Perform load VPN, IDS, IPS/IPS, firewall requirements, system performance, and monitoring of operating and voice services.
• Monitor and maintain active directory.
• Three years' experience running both real-time environment and testing environments.
• Strong operational knowledge of IAP and the operational and IT.
• Administer servers.
• Configure switch.
• Perform firmware upgrades.
• Evaluate existing network and develop recommendations.
• Respond to alerts generated in real-time, to determine root cause.
• Perform preventive and remedial checks of production systems.
• Validate network changes or enhancements.
• Participate in on-call/on-demand and problem-solving.
• Participate in network troubleshooting and root cause problem solving.
• Ability to quickly pinpoint the root cause of problems.
• Ability to document problem resolution.

Work Hours

Approximately 20 hours per week, spanning Monday through Friday, possibly with some travel.
