Overview

• Northern Trust is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Lead, SW Eng to join our IT Technology team.
• As a senior application consultant, you will be responsible for problem analysis, design, modernization, and support of application development, troubleshooting end-to-end solutions, and delivering high-quality, scalable and innovative solutions.
• Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our technology landscape.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring Junior Partners, enforcing application standards across multiple repositories, and supporting seamless agile development workflows with offshore delivery teams.

Leadership & Strategy

• Define and maintain the IT Technology architecture initiatives aligned with business strategy and strategic execution skills.
• Exercise new technology solutions and implement platforms that enable business vision and operational needs.
• Partner with clients to evaluate business components which enable solution development.
• Sketch architectures and make the best technical architectural decisions.
• Ensure collaboration work together Trust partner communities, early and continuously integrate release.
• Engaging with stakeholders to determine security, comply, risk, and regulatory standards.
