Operational Excellence Officer for Mortgages 100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer sucht einen Operational Excellence Officer für Hypotheken in Zürich, der den gesamten Lebenszyklus von Hypothekenverträgen administrativ und operativ steuert. Die Rolle umfasst zudem die Sicherstellung von Compliance und Prozessintegrität sowie die Mitwirkung an strategischen Transformations- und Digitalisierungsprojekten.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- End-to-End Mortgage Operations & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the administrative journey of mortgage facilities—from initial booking and amendments to renewal, early repayment, and settlement.
- Execute transactional activities with accuracy and timeliness, including new loans, modifications, refinancing, and system updates.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office, Mortgage Advisory, Credit Risk, Legal, and external partners to guarantee seamless client experiences and operational agility.
- Controls, Compliance & Process Integrity
- Conduct daily operational checks, reconciliations, and exception monitoring to safeguard data accuracy and process reliability.
- Support adherence to internal policies and evolving regulatory requirements (including FINMA oversight, SNB initiatives).
- Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve operational risks and pending items to maintain audit readiness.
- Contribute to refining SOPs, control frameworks, and risk mitigation measures.
- Strategic Initiative & Business Transformation
- Act as an operational partner in cross-functional projects focused on automation, digitalization, customer journey enhancement.
- Identify inefficiencies and co-design scalable solutions that elevate both productivity and service quality.
- Assist in shaping future-state processes, technology integrations, and change management rollouts.
YOUR PROFILE
- In-depth knowledge of the Swiss mortgage lifecycle, product types, collateral handling, and related operational workflows
- Demonstrated experience in data management, reporting, and operational controls—familiarity with regulatory expectations is a distinct advantage
- Strong analytical abilities and a natural interest in process optimization, whether in daily tasks or large-scale transformations
- Enjoy project-based work; self-motivated to take initiative and see efforts through to successful completion
- Comfortable operating autonomously while building effective relationships across departments and hierarchies
