Abteilungsübersicht

• Leading Operational risk managements engagement with regional and firm stakeholders supporting the business across Operations, Technology Risk, Compliance and Risk Management;
• Providing guidance on risk and control matters, forming an independent and consolidated view of the business risk profile;
• Partnering with front office and relevant ZLOD functions (incl. 2nd and 3rd Lines) on the risk and control profile of the operations, including active mitigation efforts
• Business specific coverage will depend on the relevant skills of the manager

Spezifische Verantwortlichkeiten

• Developing a close working relationship with key stakeholders across the operations business as well as senior technology, Compliance and Risk Management;
• Developing specific aspects of the operational risk framework as required
• Providing support and challenge to key business stakeholders in the delivery of new products, including RCSAs, KRI's, events
• Using internal and external data sources to identify key trends, issues, and control weaknesses, following up with the 1st line stakeholders as appropriate.
• Overseeing the delivery, where required, of Targeted Risk Assessments and Post Event Appraisals
• 2nd line (Performance and Operational Risk Awareness line

• Primary ORM lead for senior stakeholders in ILIoD
• Providing independent expert advice to the business areas on operational risk issues
• Developing, disseminating communications and training the business, to raise awareness of operational risk
• Providing value-add observations and recommendations directly to senior stakeholders

Qualifikationsprofil

• Strong FRM/CFA/IQA qualification is required
• A deep understanding of Business and IT control frameworks
• Proven experience in Operations or related control assurance job role
• Strong team relationship and relationship management skills
• IT literacy including ability to create reports and working group decks
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experienced in setting control standards and providing control and assurance support to GM, senior management, audit function and regulatory
