Principal, Enterprise Arch
Northern Trust sucht einen Principal Enterprise Architect mit über 10 Jahren Erfahrung, der für die Definition und Architektur cloud-nativer Lösungen in den Standorten Prusa (USA) oder Genf (Schweiz) verantwortlich ist. Die Rolle erfordert tiefgreifende Kenntnisse in Cloud-Engineering, Sicherheit und der Führung technischer Strategien für globale Finanzdienstleistungsprojekte.
Aufgaben
- Define comprehensive architecture strategies and target state roadmaps for enabling critical use cases while complying with global policies, enterprise principles and regulations.
- Model and configure platforms for cloud-native technologies, including but not limited to container-based frameworks with proven expertise, DevOps tools, API Gateways, Identity and Access Management, Monitoring, Logging, Network APIs, etc.
- Create cloud architectures across multiple platforms, cloud solutions, multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Identify technology, tools and platform solutions across multiple functional areas (public/private clouds, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Evaluate and recommend platforms, container orchestration capabilities, DevOps services, and autonomous capabilities.
- Familiar with latest evolving cloud and emerging technology trends including security and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate all architecture gaps/misses, recommend ad-hoc processes, build-in recommended capabilities, adopt test-automation technologies and recommend new approaches to resolve related concerns.
- Partner and collaborate engineering teams and solution architecture teams to integrate IT and platform related security and compliance requirements to the enterprise platforms to protect business goals.
- Provide developmental recommendations to resolve complex issues.
- Create robust platforms, and build integrations that extend into cloud-based infrastructures including continuous integration, decommissioning, security standards, software security standards (ISO, PCT, NIST).
- Deep technical working knowledge and expertise with TOGAF and/or Zachman with the ability to apply frameworks appropriately across business, applications, data, technology, security, cloud and enterprise security.
- Experience with RPA, low-code platforms, customer data, quality, digital products and business process.
- Advanced understanding of event-driven architectures, including API Gateways/Routers, MQP/OpenTelemetry, Stream data, services and data stores.
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including principles like IaaS/PaaS, serverless architectures.
- Good working knowledge of Web frameworks like ASP.NET Core 5+, Java, RESTful APIs/Services, Mobile Apps, Web Apps, other development frameworks, and enterprise data strategies, including Apache/AWS, Azure, IBM, GCP, Salesforce, other enterprise platforms.
- Hands-on software engineering skills for micro-service-based applications (Angular, Node.js and Microservices).
- Experience with DevOps tools and services: Jenkins, IIS, Octopus, Git, GitHub, Jenkins/GitLab, SAML 2.0.
- Thorough understanding of APIs—both web-service-oriented-Architectures—REST and SOAP (and related technologies)—such as web servers, web services, web applications, mobile applications and web applications.
- Experience as a cloud architect/engineer.
Anforderungen
- Bona fide college/university qualifications.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience across application development/consulting, engineering, architecture, platform, cloud and enterprise design.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technology leadership role.
- Exposure to software engineering methodologies and development frameworks at scale (DevOps/agile methodologies, cloud-native, micro-service, and well-known containers concepts to enterprise transformation, including DevOps and AI/AI Governance considerations).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equate.
- Proven hands-on experience with web applications.
- Knowledge of financial services industry and its business, cloud and infrastructure landscape.
- A deep understanding of Cloud Engineering solutions (enterprise architecture, systems engineering, integration techniques, cloud strategy, and other technologies, as well as well-versed platforms).
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based software solutions; Kubernetes, cloud migration.
- Proficient with one or more of the public cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Experience implementing security and compliance best practices for cloud workloads (GDPR, ISO, PCI).
- Ability to lead and influence technical decisions within an organization.
