Principal, Technology and Cyber Risk Management

Key Responsibilities
- Assess emerging technology and cybersecurity risks (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Digital Assets, Quantum Computing, Cloud/Tech, Identity, Risk & Access Management) and advise on mitigation approaches, actions and controls.
- Resolve challenges and provide management-level prioritization to key operational initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments using cybersecurity and technology compliance methods, test results, security, and independent review.
- Identify key business value, including and testing the risk models that ensure ongoing capability to analyze.
- Partner with leadership (C-suite) to prevent unmitigated risk exposure to the firm’s IT and Operations.
- Support assessment results, findings, and remediation plans, impact on risk management.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor deliverables, test scenarios, and activities across assigned initiatives or programs.
- Produce meaningful risk metrics, dashboards, and deep-dive reporting for executive teams.
- Support talent growth, coaching, and development, and support staffing continuity risk.
- Keep current on industry trends, emerging threat technologies, and privacy/related risk management.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks in cybersecurity risk management, and consult on tools and methodologies.
- Support impactful risk treatment and countermeasures for emerging technologies.
- Participate in technology and cybersecurity incident response activities as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master degree in relevant field preferred.
- Strong project management and leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strategic analytic and conceptual/problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, well-structured, and well-written documentation and supporting narratives.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within diverse, multi-national teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all organizational levels and with third-party providers.
