Private Banking Compliance Officer Region Americas & Iberia 80% - 100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer sucht in Zürich einen Compliance Officer (80-100%) für die Region Americas & Iberia, der sich um das Onboarding von US- und UK-Kunden sowie um AML-Risikobewertungen und Schulungen kümmert. Die Position erfordert einen Masterabschluss, 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung im Private Banking sowie fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Provide compliance onboarding support for new onboarding to our US private banking and US clients as well as support for the UK private client onboarding.
- Provide compliance onboarding support for all other jurisdictions into the Amers & Iberia region office
- Be the compliance interface & relation manager for the client management and middle office colleagues
- Support other locations within the region as well as the global compliance organization
- Client Risk & AML ratings for clients within the jurisdiction based on CDD/KYC, WCR and other risk factors
- Provide training and training materials in connection with compliance topics
- Recommend, develop, and implement solutions to support continuous improvement in compliance, operations, and services
YOUR PROFILE
- Master's degree in law | business administration, postgraduate studies in Compliance or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the client onboarding of an international Private Bank
- Knowledge of the Swiss regulatory environment, most critically on the AML/CFT/DD rules and documentation standards
- Sound knowledge of the Region Americas & Iberia
- Strong personality with good organizational and operational skills and proven ability to work under pressure
- Independent, efficient, meticulous work method, team-oriented as well as solution-oriented
- Fluent knowledge in English and German
- Good in English and Portuguese and / or Spanish (spoken and written), knowledge of other languages is an advantage
