Quantitative Researcher

Purpose of the role

• Generating, maintaining, and implementing new alpha signals, taking further risk-adjusted terms/trading and extending the reach of the firm by developing new opportunities.
• Implementing the formulation of new developments market and quantitative data understanding from sources such as Tradewin to reduce trading costs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills as evidenced by degree from wealth mathematical statistics, economics, computer science or a quantitatively oriented scientific degree, such as Physics, Engineering, Economics, Quantitative Economics, etc.
• OR post A minimum of 1 year of experience (ideally a PhD) conducting research in a related field, mathematical finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in coding language Python, C++ or Java.
• Demonstrated deep understanding and sound use of programming concepts. Strong programming abilities in at least one language related to the ability to write clean, precise, and efficient programmatic code. The ability to review and debug code from others.
• The analytical bent to be creative, think laterally and solve problems effectively. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, working as an individual as well as part of a larger interdisciplinary team is essential.

• The base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for the position will be based on any years of experience level in the occupation and pay differences among various occupations, locations, and experience levels.
• US Pay Range: $75,000 - $108,000
• Our compensation/ben package includes competitive salary and deferred compensation.
