Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality investment research across a broad range of sectors, including finance, technology, healthcare, and more;
• Conduct fundamental analysis, including reviewing financial statements, industry reports, and company presentations, and writing reports on individual companies;
• Assess global market trends as well as competitive dynamics within the Far East economies to find investment opportunities;
• Meet with management teams and site visits (as appropriate);
• Attend meetings, interact with analysts, as well as participate in investment committees;
• Work with external resources, including access to industry conferences;
• Keep up on changes in the Far East economic and political landscape and evaluate how these changes may affect the Fund’s investment opportunities;
• Track and monitor portfolio holdings;
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an academic discipline relevant to research and analysis (e.g. economics, finance, mathematics, physics...);
• 1-3 years experience in either fundamental research relevant industries (finance, tech, healthcare, etc.);
• Basic understanding of financial models;
• Ability to think independently & problem solve;
• Fluent in English, both written & spoken;
• Proficient with office software.

Good To Have

• Current Far Eastern work authorization a strong plus candidate;
• Other East Asian language skills are always helpful;
