General Description

Responsible for processing security transfer instructions of various products such as equities, fixed income instruments, funds, structured products, derivatives and physical precious metals against clients' instructions covering Singapore and Hong Kong booking centers

Key Features and Accountabilities

Client Management (internal & external)
- Coordinates with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, service providers, local market counterparties to ensure that daily work meets organizational standards
- Monitor the queries received and provide responses or holding replies within a reasonable time-frame. Ensure it meets all relevant standards and policies
Business Management
- Input of transfer instructions received from clients into the core banking system including pre-trade validation checks
- Submit requests for security master creation if the instrument is not available
- Maintenance of counterparty SSI in the core banking system
- Ensures that the instructions sent to the custodians are in good order, Swift entries are correct and cleared daily
- Ensures timely payment of Stamp Duty / Tax and Fees, if applicable for any transactions
- Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing when required

- Good knowledge and understanding of the various securities products (i.e. equities, fixed income instruments, funds, structured products, derivatives etc.)
- Candidate with relevant experience in Security Transfer and SWIFT (MT5xx) knowledge will be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office software
