Aufgaben

Lead execution of projects
Design, build, and maintain highly available, concurrent and performant software systems
Collaborate with teams to develop Aladdin's global multi-asset class platform
Architect, develop and maintain trading systems, market and reference data systems, and other software systems
Responsible for the technical design and development of new trading platforms
Participate in Agile SCRUM methodologies to build the platform
Lead performance testing and troubleshoot production issues
Define, implement and enforce secure coding practices through all phases of software development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product integration

Anforderungen

10+ years of professional experience
BS/BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
Proven Java expertise
Track record of building highly available, concurrent and performant software systems
Strong proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Java/ Spring Framework/Spring Boot/ Hibernate
Experience with databases
Experience with web technologies
Experience with architecture and design patterns
Experience with coding standards
External experience building mission-critical software architectures
Understanding of distributed systems and microservices
Understanding of containerization and cloud technologies
Ability to collaborate and execute in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Strong analytical capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
