Als (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist bei der Bank J. Safra Sarasin in Zürich sind Sie für die Anpassung von FIX-Schnittstellen, die Definition von IT-Prozessen sowie die Implementierung und Konfiguration neuer Funktionen in Handelssystemen wie Front Arena AMS und Avaloq zuständig. Your Role

As a (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you are responsible for our group-wide execution trading system (FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS and Avaloq) but also for surrounding systems.
Additionally, you provide customization and workflow definition tasks, mainly for FIX interfaces, including project management work.

Your Responsibilities

Customize FIX interfaces
Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading systems, e.g. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS (market access, order routing, settlement) and Avaloq
Implement, configure and test new functionalities
Analyse and support on business level
Create technical documentation

Your Profile

Higher education (university / FH) in IT or natural sciences, with 5 years of practical experience in the field of FIX interfaces
Required industry specific knowledge as well as basic knowledge in Trading (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX)
Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption and profound IT-affinity, in particular with Windows NOS, TCP/IP
Knowledge of FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite: Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and/or Python is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work with various stakeholders and willingness to take responsibility
Capability to work independently and ability to work under pressure
Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
