Aufgaben

• Build and ship features on a high-throughput streaming platform processing billions of market data points daily.
• Tickle down distributed systems components at a scale the engineers encounter.
• Work closely with team members and designers to create new systems and adopt out systems trends.
• Drive platform stability through rigorous incident response, post-mortem analysis, actionable fixes.
• Contribute knowledge throughout thought leadership teams and mentoring of junior Python mentors.

Anforderungen

Required

• 3-9 years of professional experience in software engineering with java as your primary language.
• In-depth understanding of data pipelines and streaming architectures (e.g.
• Fluent knowledge of Python, Clojure, React, and various database frameworks like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in close collaboration.
• Demonstrated and technical aptitude of data engineering. - eagerness and interest to function within the most resilient design teams to build data workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to partner with developers to deliver value to customers from stakeholders.

Advantageous

• Strong academic record and a degree with high mathematical and computing content e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics.
• Comfortable with functioning systems and communication.
• Experience with performance optimization and large-scale data processing.
• Contribution to open source projects.
• Experience with NoSQL and unstructured data.
